26 INSPIRATIONAL TIPS

1.Give God what’s right and not what is left.

2.Mans ways lead to a hopeless end, Gods ways lead to an endless hope.

3.A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing.

5. In the sentence of life, the devil may be a comma, but never let him be a full stop.

6. Don’t put a question mark where God puts a full stop.

CORRECTION

·        Jesus says that if your brother has done something wrong, correct him(Mt 18 )

·        Be concerned about one another and support one another.

·        We live as a community, without personal agendas.

·        Fraternal correction comes when others see                                     something you don’t notice.

Practicalities

1.           Something undesirable has happened. This could include breaking of rules/disobedience/being out of place/other indescribable activities.

2.           Discern if the matter is grave or trivial. If grave then take strict action.

3.           Care front your own companion who is involved in the above                   activities.

4.            By care fronting, you are actually giving 

the other permission to  fraternally correct you as well.

5.           Fraternal correction will lead you to a 

growth in personal convictions.

Caution

1.           Correct out of concern – not malice or revenge.

2.           It is a help for you and the other – St. John               Bosco.

3.           Should not lead to irritation.

4.           Correct because of love, not self love.

5.           We can’t live indifferent.

6.           Internal disposition is required while giving  and receiving fraternal                   correction.

        Fraternal correction also involves fraternal                                                                     appreciation.   

INTRODUCING A PERSON

 

Introduction and being introduced

1.     Self talk helps a lot.

2.     Keep eye contact and be genuine.

Giving another’s introduction

1.     Take time to use right words

2.     Protocol (Respecting the persons dignity and addressing rightly)

Introducing someone you don’t like

1.     Don’t say something ungracious.

2.     Don’t be discourteous, rude.

3.     Don’t use words such as shit, God. (Use words such gosh, oops….)

Common phrases

1.     Its my privilege to introduce………

2.     I consider this as a great opportunity to make you acquainted with……….

3.     So and so ………. Doesn’t need introduction. However, I’m glad to address these few words of introduction to him/her.

4.     (While introducing a very famous personality) …I’m glad to meet you at last.
